What is Couples Counseling?

Couples Counseling is separate and apart from Individual Counseling.  In these sessions, both partners meet with a therapist and discuss issues and concerns together.  Many topics can include, but are not limited to, ways to improve communication, strategies to share thoughts and feelings, and plans for resolving conflicts.  The therapist treats the couple as a unified entity and aims to point strengths and weaknesses of both partners as well as strengths and weaknesses of the partnership.
