I am a Licensed Professional Therapist and Licensed Art Therapist who approaches counseling from a holistic standpoint, integrating cognitive understanding and emotional support with the creative self. While participating in therapy does not require you to engage in experiential arts, I encourage self-expression to release blocked emotions in a sensitive and supportive environment.

Some of the important areas I focus on include building self-esteem, developing a strong self-identity, and helping individuals overcome challenges such as anger, communication difficulties, anxiety, family separation, depression, and substance abuse. Recognizing your strengths and building upon them is central to encouraging personal empowerment and fostering lasting growth.

My therapy services include counseling for children ages 3 and up, adolescents, adults, as well as family therapy, couples counseling, and group counseling. Art therapy provides children and adults an opportunity to explore emotions and feelings more quickly than traditional talk therapy, and for children, it introduces the valuable element of play, which can make a significant difference in their healing journey.

You deserve a space where you don’t have to perform or hide any part of yourself; where your story, identity, strengths, and struggles are all welcomed. There is something powerful about being truly seen and understood, and this work is rooted in creating a space that feels safe and aligned with you. I work with children, teens, and adults, supporting each person in a way that meets them where they are.

Rather than‘fixing’ you, this process is about reconnecting with and embracing parts of yourself that have been overlooked or pushed aside, with consideration to the people, systems, and contexts that have shaped your life experiences. Whether through conversation, creative expression, play, or simply sitting with what’s present, this is a space to honor who you are and feel supported in what you’re moving through.

I’m a counseling intern completing my Master’s in Community Psychology at Alverno College, graduating December 2025. I’ve had the privilege of working with children, teens, adults, and families in home and community settings, supporting people through skills training, behavioral therapy, and connecting them resources that help them thrive.

I see therapy as a space where you don’t have to perform or hide any part of yourself- a space where your story, strengths, struggles, and unique identity are all welcomed. My approach blends community psychology, expressive arts, and trauma-informed care inviting you to explore, express, and connect in ways that feel authentic to you. I’m especially drawn to work that gently helps uncover and heal from the root, supporting lasting change from the inside out.

Our time together is guided by a mix of curiosity, warmth, and collaboration. I aim to support you in exploring your sense of self including the cultural, community, and relational influences that shape your experiences. Whether we’re exploring new ways to handle challenges, expression through words, art, play, or movement, or just sitting with what’s present for you, my goal is for every person- child through adult- to feel seen, heard, and more at home in their mind, body, and spirit.

I believe that healing and growth are for everyone. There is no ideal client in my eyes. Each person who seeks support comes with their own unique story, and I am passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space where all voices are heard and respected. I understand how important it is to feel understood in therapy—not just clinically, but culturally and emotionally. My commitment is to hold space for all of who you are while helping you move toward who you want to become.

My goal is to create an environment where you feel safe, affirmed, and truly heard. I am especially dedicated to providing a space that centers cultural sensitivity and emotional safety. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all; I believe in being flexible, collaborative, and genuine with you, ensuring that your unique needs and experiences are always honored.

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming and even a little intimidating, but you do not need to have everything figured out to take the first step. You are not alone in this process. My role is to walk alongside you as you explore, grow, and move towards the life you want to live. If you are ready to begin your journey, I am excited and honored to support you every step of the way.
